Elena Pappas graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2018 and began her career with Harold “Hap” May, P.C. in October of 2021.
Prior to attending South Texas College of Law, Pappas attended Texas A&M University where she pursued a degree in business finance. There she became a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and was also an AHEPA Educational Foundation Inc. Scholarship recipient. During this time, she served as an intern and legal assistant in a local law firm, and after graduation she served the 247th Family District Court in Harris County Texas as a research intern and legal assistant.
During her time at South Texas College of Law, Pappas worked with a guardianship clinic assisting with representation of indigent clients regarding guardianship appointments. Post law school, Pappas served as an insurance defense attorney before joining the team at Harold “Hap” May, P.C.
In addition to practicing law, Pappas is also active in the community as a member of the Houston Young Lawyer’s Association, Youth Advisor for the Houston Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and as a member of the Houston Adult Soccer League.
